Without question, Mike hands down IS the best character on the show whether you love him or hate him. He makes the funniest jokes, is one of the realest characters, he's got has a genuwine personality, and doesn't let bullshit/haters get to him.
I don't know what was up with him in the beginning with Sammie. Not sure why he liked her, but they did know of each other before the show. They must have had a good friendship off camera that was never really made known *as we saw in the never before seen footage during the cast reunion*

I watched the last episode and after-show recently... and I just have to say.
Mike + SNOOKIE? EWWWWWWW.
It was like him kissing his sister? Oh god that's too funny.
Throughout all of the episodes, I noticed that Sammie only cared about herself and her relationship with Ronnie.
Snookie did the stupidest shit for attention such as sucking on pickles (wtf), running her mouth off on numerous occassions like the most publicized event: gym teacher falcon punches her in the jaw... what else. "Dancing" in the clubs and doing backflips with her thong out! WHO DOES THAT?
Mike, though he only cared about getting girls after girls, I respect that he was smart in who he chose his battles with. Mike isn't a "hot-head" the way that Ronnie was on the show. Mike was real and there's no doubt that if Pauly D were ever in trouble, he would be there for him like an actual friend.
Pauly D had a great character. He was always neutral, everybody liked him. He didn't do stupid shit and he got girls, but never bragged about it. LMAO with that jewish stalker chick. The ugly blonde "grenade" chick. I literally DIED laughing.
Vinnie and Mike's feud was hilarious too.
I personally like Mike, Pauly, and Snookie the most. The other three I could care less about. Ronnie was like the dumb juice head of the show, Vinnie was pretty plain, and Sammie never had anything positive to really say about the others in the house - except for Ronnie of course.

Mike is pretending to care. JWow talks about her nails... But Pauly says something respectable. He is so right. A guy SHOULD NEVER hit a girl over something as stupid as drinks.
They bring up some very good points in the interview - we only see a small portion of their daily lives during the show. They are away from home partying during their summer vacation. This obviously isn't their real lives.
The show does not "bash" Italians. The cast members also do not insult or disrespect their families. They love their culture. It's an amazing show basically focusing on young adulthood and what it's like to live carefree and enjoy life while they can.
People hate on what they can't be or what they can't have. The bottom line is haters are jealous that they can't live the same life-style. Others may be against the cast members ravishing in being promiscuous, but the reality is a lot of people all over North America live this way.
Most young adults go out to parties, beaches, and clubs during the summer and hook up with people. I would like to HOPE that every young adult takes good care of themselves and pays some attention to their physical appearance...
So what's wrong with the show? That it depicts real life? Come on now.

I noticed in episode 5, when Snooki gets punched Ronnie and Vinnie are fuming while Pauly and Mike hardly seem to care. Perhaps it's because of their maturity level.
Firstly, Mike and Pauly are the oldest in the house and are therefore, most likely more in control of their emotions. However, if you've been following this show you'd remember back when a guy pushed Vinnie at a club and Pauly went in and punched that kid in the face...
My point is why would he lash out to defend Vinnie, but not really give a shit when it comes to Snooki, A GIRL getting hit?!
Don't EVEN get me started about MIKE. That guy is so creepy. Sure, I can appreciate his "confidence" and sense of humour, but what the f*ck are you thinking tryna pick up a chick at a time like that! To me that is pretty disturbing.
It's not like any of them are REAL friends anyway :D lmao
I've noticed that in this world, most people are scared. Why do you live if you're scared? You're here ONCE. May as well make your dream a reality. You want a better example? Take a lesson from Scarface - one of my favourite movies. Once you've done that, you can take a lesson from me and continue to watch what I do.
